Summer Knights, our upcoming Vacation Bible School, is looking for your used 16-20 oz. clean, clear,  water bottles for a craft. If people can bring them in on Sunday or to the church office it would be g reat! Northgate Family News March 26, 2010 I am glad we are family and can weather through change with grace and understanding :)  Some of you have responded to my emails about converting to our new system.  You should not have to sign up for a password.  If you click on the URL then click on 'Join Google Groups, ' that should be enough to get you on the Family News list automatically.  Please contact me if this is not working for you.   Interested in Avalanche Hockey games?  I will have a stack of free tickets tonight at Ladies SPA, compliments of Dave and Valeri Boyer.   They are for the last game of the season which will be tomorrow night, Saturday, at 7pm at the Wasilla Sports Complex.  If you miss the SPA and still would like to attend, call me at 841-9567 for tickets. Northgate Family News March 12, 2010  Help Needed -  We need about 6 strong men to help move sheetrock in the new building here on the church campus.  We will be meeting at 10:30am and it should only take 2 hours if we have enough help.  Please come and lend a hand, even if it's only for 30 minutes...thank you, Pastor Dennis Daylight Savings - Don't forget to turn your clocks forward one hour on Saturday evening.  "Spring forward, Fall back!" We will see you an hour earlier at church on Sunday :) Checks - It will take 6-8 week to officially change our name in Juneau.  Until that time, please continue to make all checks out to Crossroads Community Church.   Housing Needed - A young gal, 3 months pregnant, is looking for a room to rent or place to house sit.  She is trying to get out of an abusive situation.  If you can help, please call Katie at 775-5710. Got Birds? - Or would you like some?  Rick Clark is looking for a home for 2 parakeets, cage and food.  They belonged to her daughter and she is moved out.  Rick and Greta like birds but not this much :)  Call 376-7226 or 354-7282.

Northgate Family News March 5, 2010 Housing Needed ~ If you need a housesitter for April or May, give Claudia a call at the office, 864-6701. Also, there are 3 first year students from Bethel School of Ministry looking for housing this summer up here in AK.  They would like to obtain jobs to earn funds for their 2nd year at school.  Willing to pay rent.  Call Carissa at 707-354-4129. Vehicle Needed ~ Dave and Hope Salmon are having a vehicle crisis!  They are hoping to borrow a vehicle until they get insurance business settled and get a new car.  If you could help them out, call Dave at 357-7585 or 715-6413. Queen Bed ~  Looking to buy a "gently used" queen sized bed.  If you have one for sale, in good condition, call Robin Hall at 357-1411. Northgate Family News March 2nd, 2010 AMAZING TIMES we are in!!!   I am home from Maui, Pat and I had an amazing trip but SO much has happened here in just a few short days!  I am still marveling at God and how He literally stopped the tsunami from hitting us.  Last Thursday, 35 ft. waves were expected to hit short at 11am.  Sirens went off on the whole island and we had to evacuate to higher ground.  We did all right, straight to the throne room!  We spoked to the wave and IT DID NOT HIT!!!  God is so covering Northgate with His mighty hand and changing direction in a huge way!  I am excited!!! CCC Family News February 12, 2010  From Pastor Dennis ~  The next 3 weeks,  we will be casting the Lord's vision for the future of our church family.  You won't want to miss these Sundays!!! HELP!!  WE NEED YOU!! We are looking for volunteers willing to help cook at the Youth Winter Retreat, next weekend at Laverne Griffin Camp.  This is a great opportunity to get to know others and to bless our fabulous youth.  You could help with just one meal or the whole weekend.  If you are interested, please call Ruben or Claudia at 864-6701. CCC Family News February 2, 2010  Help Needed - A gentleman just phoned the office here looking for someone to help him move 2 couches and a dresser.  This needs to be done within the next 24 hours.
